The wines of Côtes de Bourg are located on the right bank of the Dordogne, where it meets the Gironde, just south of Blaye. This small appellation around the village of Bourg produces a good red wine medium-body better than its neighbors. The wine of Côtes de Bourg is quite tannic with a powerful aroma of red fruits.
