Bruichladdich Rare Cask 1988 Single Malt Whiskey is a unique and very limited edition. The Untouchable is a unique 1988 Bruichladdich single malt from the distillery's Rare Casks series. Aged for three decades in a combination of bourbon barrels and refilled squat hogsheads. Floral aromas of dried hay, buttercups, primroses and coconut oil burst through the nose, followed by vanilla fudge, porridge with golden syrup, sweet citrus, sorbet, apricot and caramel. The taste initially offers notes of coconut, pink grapefruit, granola, malt and toast, slow developing oak spice, pipe tobacco and fudge, with ripe pineapple, mango and mint build up to the finish.
