Bruichladdich Rare Cask 1988 is a unique, very limited release in the distillery’s Rare Casks series. The Untouchable is a 1988 Bruichladdich matured for three decades in a combination of bourbon casks and squat, dumpy casks.

• Nose: floral notes of dried hay, buttercups, primroses and coconut oil; followed by vanilla caramel, porridge with golden syrup, soft citrus, sorbet, apricot and toffee.

• Palate: coconut, pink grapefruit, granola, malt and toasted bread; slowly developing oak spice, pipe tobacco and burnt sugar caramel.

• Finish: builds into ripe pineapple, mango and mint, leading to a long, deep and warming finale.

🛢️ 30 years’ maturation in bourbon and dumpy casks for exceptional concentration and balance.
