Assembled by master distiller Jim McEwan from carefully selected casks, this classic single malt Scotch highlights elegant floral notes, typically Bruichladdich. This unpeated whiskey is our signature bottle: the Bruichladdich par excellence. Made from 100% Scottish barley, distilled slowly and then aged only on the Lochindaal coast, in high quality American oak barrels, this whiskey is a testament to the quality of our ingredients.

Tasting notes:

Dress: Sun of early summer on the barley fields.

Nose: The bouquet is a marvel. Barley sugar with a hint of mint. Wild flowers and caramelized fruits, a few drops of lemon juice and honey, tangerine.

Palace: Sweet and refreshing. Oak and barley exalt the straws. Fruity notes - combination of ripe green fruits, brown sugar and sweet malt.

Final: Unforgettable and warm.

A unique 'malt' of exception

Islay Island is located on the west coast of Scotland. The nine distilleries of this island enjoy a truly magical marine alchemy and many peat bogs. With Bruichladdich Scottish Barley, Bruidladdich offers a whiskey produced exclusively with Scottish malt. And it's rare! It is aged in casks containing bourbon. The distillery is against the "tyranny of age" (this is the expression used by the distiller, Jim McEwan): the bottling of this "single malt" occurs when the desired harmony is reached . It will then be bottled unstained and unfiltered. This is a balanced but very expressive malt with floral evocations. Classic and elegant, not peated.
