The Macallan Amber is part of the THE MACALLAN 1824 SERIES range. This range was created to present the beautiful palette of NATURAL COLORS that are found in our whiskeys - each expression becoming more and more dense in color and complex. Stuart MacPherson, Woodmaster of The Macallan, makes sure that each is used in the 1824 Series is of the highest quality - handmade in oak wood, mainly selected from the forests of northern Spain. With more than 30 years of experience, Bob Dalgarno, The Macallan Whiskey Maker, has CHOOSED from his hand the exceptional oak barrels that will bring the color and character of each expression. A range of Single Malts with CHARACTER AND AROMAS EXEMPLARY.
Tasting notes:
Dress: Nice amber color
Nose: A soft, floral nose with hints of citrus, a touch of raisins and cinnamon, enhanced by a bouquet of caramelized apples and cotton candy.
Palate: On the palate, green apples and lemons mingle with cinnamon, while subtle flavors of ginger and oak emerge.
Finale: The slightly dry finish of Amber is quite light, with flavors of red fruits and cereals.
