🥃 Smokehead Sherry Bomb is a limited Islay release that absolutely lives up to its name: a full-on collision of rich sherry and intense peat at 48% ABV. From the very first sip, big smoke and assertive peat announce themselves, supported by the deep, fruity sweetness of Oloroso sherry casks

🛢️. On the nose, powerful peat smoke leads the way, followed by layers of fruit, toasted oak, vanilla and custard. Hints of dried fruits and confectionery sweetness reveal the influence of the sherry maturation.

On the palate, a bold peat blast hits first, wrapped in flavours of ripe fruit, oak, vanilla and creamy custard. After a few seconds, another wave emerges from the smoke: sweet banana, raisins and dried fruits add richness and complexity, while the peat remains ever-present in the background.

The finish is long, fruity and smoky, with lingering dried fruits and sweetness coming from the Oloroso sherry casks, alongside a salty, smoky edge that clings to the palate.
