🥃 Glen Garioch Founder’s Reserve is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottled at 48% vol., crafted at one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries. Founded in 1797 by Thomas Simpson, Glen Garioch sits in the village of Old Meldrum, in Aberdeenshire, and takes its name from the fertile Garioch Valley.

Matured in hand-selected American white oak casks 🛢️, this expression showcases a generous, creamy style with a touch of Highland freshness. In the glass, the bright gold colour hints at its richness. On the nose, soft butterscotch and vanilla clearly show the influence of American oak, while green apple and grapefruit bring acidity and lift.

On the palate, Glen Garioch Founder’s Reserve is opulent and indulgent: butter, cream and vanilla dominate, supported by notes of sweet malt and toasted oak. The mouthfeel is full and rounded, yet balanced by a fresh, lightly zesty edge. The finish is clean and fresh, with no bitterness, leaving gentle oak and vanilla notes on the tongue.
