🥃 Michel Couvreur 12 Year Old Overaged is built around one clear idea: balance. It brings together the lively drive of younger malts with the deep, rounded maturity of older ones, then unifies the whole with a sherry-led finish.

This cuvée is an assemblage of whiskies aged 12 to 25 years, then matured in 🛢️ fresh Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks to give cohesion, a silky texture and a gently sweet impression — without losing the malt’s natural freshness. In the glass it shows a beige-amber hue. The nose is refined, with dried flowers, blond tobacco, a clear Jerez wine note and rich almond, plus a subtle coastal/iodine touch. The palate is fruity, powerful and rounded, with spice accents and a warmly persistent finish.

Serving tip: enjoy it slightly cool, around 14–15°C, to keep the sweetness elegant and the aromatics precise. Brilliant as an aperitif or digestif, and a premium choice for special occasions and gifting.
