Gouden Carolus Single Malt is produced at the De Molenberg whisky distillery, the first in Belgium to operate with two hand-hammered copper pot stills 🛢️. This double distillation process yields a pure, refined spirit which is then matured in oak casks for at least 3 years. The result is a sophisticated Belgian single malt with a pure, balanced character and a distinctively elegant profile.

Made from malted barley, water and yeast, this whisky focuses on authentic flavour. On the nose and palate, you will discover fruity notes, vanilla and hints of crème brûlée, with rich, balanced flavours highlighted by wood and vanilla. For the best experience, keep it at room temperature (around 21°C) and enjoy it neat or with a drop of fresh water to open up the aromas.

The four Gouden Carolus Tripel beers reveal the natural link between the brewery and distillery: the family brewing tradition evolved from a heritage of distillation, and now the brewery forms the base for this renewed whisky craft.
