π₯ Jameson Select Reserve Irish Whiskey is a premium blended Irish whiskey crafted from a combination of rich pot still whiskey and rare small batch grain whiskey. Both components are triple distilled for extra smoothness, then matured in deeply charred bourbon barrels and toasted sherry casks
π’οΈ, creating a remarkably rich and luxurious flavour profile.
The Jameson Masters carefully select each cask to highlight the signature pot still character β with notes of toasted wood and warm spice β complemented by the elegance and sweetness of the small batch grain whiskey, which is distilled only once a year in limited quantities.
In the glass, the whiskey shows a deep dark gold colour. On the nose, it is round and full, with generous aromas of exotic fruits like nectarine, apricot and papaya, layered with vanilla, toffee and soft caramel.
On the palate, the texture is velvety and creamy. Very soft fruity notes appear first, followed by vanilla, toasted wood and spice from the pot still component and the intensely fired casks. The result is a rich, opulent and beautifully balanced whiskey, combining sweetness, oak and spice in perfect harmony.
The finish is incredibly long, with lingering fruit, spice and gently charred oak, offering an extremely rich and powerful tasting experience while remaining unmistakably smooth in true Jameson style. Enjoy it neat, with a splash of water or on the rocks, and pair it with fruit-based desserts, buttery pastries or a selection of mild to medium cheeses.
