🥃 Glenfarclas 50 Years Old – Family Range 3rd Release is an outstanding Speyside single malt from the independent, family-owned Glenfarclas distillery. It is the third edition in the Family Range / Collector Series, honouring the third generation of the Grant family. This release is strictly limited to 937 bottles worldwide, with only 12 bottles allocated to Belgium, making it extremely rare and highly sought after.

🛢️ Matured for half a century in traditional ex-Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 41.1% ABV, this expression is non chill-filtered and uncoloured, showcasing the pure Glenfarclas style and the tremendous influence of long sherry cask ageing.

On the nose, it opens with fresh, sweet sherry notes, followed by crème caramel, butterscotch, treacle toffee and sherry-soaked raisins.

The palate reveals an assertive yet balanced spiciness, then layers of caramel, chocolate ice cream, rich toffee and dried fruits. The finish offers a beautiful balance of sherry, spiced fruits and cinnamon, with the long-lasting sweetness you would expect from 50 years in some of the distillery’s finest sherry casks.
