🥃 Goldlys Cask 2627 12 Year Old Belgian Whisky is a 70cl double still whisky at 43% ABV, distilled and aged in Bachte-Maria-Leerne, a small village in Flanders. The nearby river Lys, once used for soaking flax and giving the water a golden hue, is known as the “River of Gold”. This golden river inspired both the name “Goldlys” and the spirit’s character: bright, mellow and warmly coloured.

This 12-year-old Cask 2627 expression is smooth, rounded and very approachable. The light golden colour hints at a delicate sweetness. On the nose, notes of cereals, oak and hay create a rustic, inviting profile. The palate is creamy and sweet, with flavours of vanilla, sugar and gentle cinnamon spice, all wrapped in a soft, rounded texture. The finish is long, very smooth and sweet, with lingering vanilla, spices and malted grain.
