About Champagne Jacques Lorent Vintage 2014

A cooperative of 250 small Champagne winegrowers – each often cultivating only two or three acres – cultivates the fruit used in Champagne Vintage de Lorent. The Chardonnay is blended with very acidic Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir (Chardonnay 50%, Pinot Noir 35%, Meunier 15%). Aged at least 8 years, it is immediately accessible and drinks beautifully from the start. Crunchy yet creamy, full-bodied, this sparkling reflects the wine's origins in some of the best vineyards in the Marne Valley.

Wine Enthusiast magazine scored these 90 points saying "The vineyards around Epernay produced this now ripe champagne. With a hint of honey and an attractive fragrance, it is rich, full of secondary flavors. Drink the wine now." A stunning value for vintage champagne.
