Champagne Vintage 2009 from Billecart Salmon is one of the flagships

of the house, aged in vats to preserve the freshness and authenticity of the subtle

blend of the three major grape varieties of Champagne. A vinous, fresh and

elegant champagne, with a great concentration on citrus fruits, white flowers and

a touch of brioche due to the long aging on slats. This very fine 2009 vintage

brings freshness and aromatic concentration. The bubbles are fine and enveloping,

all punctuated by a tangy finish, an additional citrus twist! Superb

champagne that will age very well until 2025.

Grape variety: 40% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Marne

Valley, 33% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs (Avize, Cramant, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger,

Oger, Chouilly and Vertus) and 27% of Pinot Meunier.
