A gift from the gods!

The year 2009 has been called by some “a gift from the gods”. Nature gave us an ideal summer: hot, dry and very sunny. Everything was in place to harvest very large grapes.

The bunches were in exceptionally healthy condition, without any deterioration. The juices from this harvest presented a natural balance close to perfection. From seven emblematic grand crus of the House, this cuvée is anchored in history by the nobility of its origins.

Tasting notes

Eye

Pale gold with delicate golden nuances, signs of elegance and maturity. Exceptional shine. Effervescence of great finesse.

NOSE

The first notes are floral and sweet and reminiscent of honeysuckle and acacia flower. By opening,

the wine reveals more fruity nuances of dried fig but also frangipane.

BLOCKED

Very straight and of an exceptional minerality, the structure of the wine, velvety, recalls the chalk of Champagne. The balance is perfect.
