🥃 Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or 12 Year Old is a 70cl Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottled at 46% vol. Sumptuous, silky and seductive, its name says it all: “Nectar”, the drink of the gods, and “Or” for golden richness. It showcases the opulent, dessert-like side of Glenmorangie with layers of fruit, spice and sweetness.

This whisky is first matured for 10 years in bourbon casks that have been used no more than twice, before receiving a further maturation

🛢️ in rare French Sauternes wine casks from prestigious châteaux. These casks lend a velvety texture, a deep honey-gold colour and intense notes of ripe fruits, honey and soft spice. Nectar D'Or is also non chill-filtered, preserving its natural oils and delivering a fuller, richer mouthfeel.

On the nose, lime and orange zest, raisins and dates create a rich, fruity bouquet, lifted by gentle spices, coconut and nutmeg. The palate opens with the warmth of ginger, nutmeg and toasted almonds, intertwined with syrupy lemon meringue and generous honey. The finish is long and delightfully sweet, dominated by lemon zest, white chocolate and vanilla, before fading into ginger and nutmeg. A stunning balancing act of sweet and dry, praised by Jim Murray (Whisky Bible 2010, 94/100).
