🥃 Glengoyne 12 Year Old is a refined Highland single malt from Dumgoyne, north of Glasgow. Part of the Ian MacLeod family (also behind Six Isles and Smokehead), Glengoyne is famous for drying its barley with warm air instead of peat smoke, resulting in a pure, elegant malt character.

The colour is natural, rich gold. On the nose, notes of coconut oil, honey, lemon zest and dried oak, with a hint of fresh orchard fruit.

The palate brings caramelised apples, cinnamon, ginger, orange and buttery shortbread biscuits. The texture is smooth and well-balanced, with no smoke, focusing on clean, rich malt flavours. The finish shows a gentle sherry influence and soft oak, long and beautifully balanced.
