¤ Established in 1893, Longmorn is a Speyside whiskey distillery located in Elgin in Morayshire, Scotland.
¤ Throughout its history, Longmorn is one of the few distilleries to have never stopped producing alcohol.
¤ Longmorn is developing one of the most complex single malts in Speyside.
Longmorn 16 Years Old
¤ The longmorn is recognized as one of the best single malt with amazing complexity.
¤ It is unfiltered cold which gives it body and richness in the mouth.
¤ Aging in 3 types of barrels of two different oaks (European and American), which reveals very complex aromas.
Tasting notes:
Dress: Old gold
Nose: In attack, notes of spices, sweet wood, pineapple and honey. Then notes of peaches, caramel fondants and cocoa butter.
Palate: Notes of cinnamon and nutmeg followed by hints of honey and mango enhanced with blackberry cream flavors, with hints of cedar and mint.
Finish: Very long with hints of spice and ginger.
