About the domain

In 1987, the company Touko-Haus becomes owner of the castle Citran, with the stated goal of raising its wine at the highest level. From then on, a vast program of refurbishment of both the vineyard and the cellars starts. Neglected lands are cleverly highlighted, neglected parcels regain the prestige of yesteryear. Recently, this property was acquired by the Merlot-Villars family.

About the vintage

The wines from Château Citran are full, powerful, without being aggressive, they combine finesse and personality. Very pleasant in their youth, they can keep a decade.
