Château Sociando-Mallet produces full-bodied wines, with a beautiful dark and deep color. Their bouquet is complex, usually dominated by notes of black fruits, a touch of minerality and a well-integrated fine oak. Often a little "manly" in their youth, the wines gain in harmony and complexity with age. They are characterized by their freshness, straightness and good length.

Château Sociando-Mallet is traditionally a long-keeping wine whose great vintages will drink happily even after 30 years in the cellar.

Sweet for a wine that is often rather extracted, rich and long lasting, the 2013 presents itself much more friendly to drink in its young age – for the next 7-8 years. Deep ruby/purple color with cassis and blueberry, a hint of wet rock, soft tannins and moderate structure, this is by no means a very concentrated wine, but it is well made and pure without any dark character. astringency or vegetal.
