The history of the walls, now inhabited by the DRAPPIER family, dates back to the 12th century when Saint Bernard had an annex to the Clairvaux Abbey built in Urville. The vineyard which today surrounds these Cistercian cellars is the pride of our house. Grown as close as possible to nature, it gives life to grapes rich in complex aromas that will allow the development of champagnes with strong characters housed in exceptional bottles.

The vines have always been cultivated in a philosophy that is now called "organic" and the vinifications are not very interventionist. A rare champagne in France since two thirds of the bottles are exported.
