The history of the walls, inhabited today by the DRAPPIER family, dates back to the 12th century when Saint Bernard had an annex of the Abbey of Clairvaux built in Urville. The vineyard that today surrounds these Cistercian cellars is the pride of our house. Cultivated as close as possible to nature, it gives life to grapes rich in complex aromas which will allow the development of champagnes with well-defined characters housed in exceptional bottles.

The vines have always been cultivated in a philosophy that is now called "organic" and the vinifications are little interventionist. A rare champagne in France since two thirds of the bottles are exported.
