🥃 Eilan Gillan is an independent bottler travelling across Scotland to hand-pick single casks at different distilleries. For this bottling, a single cask from Cragganmore in Speyside was selected and bottled at 46% ABV, yielding only around 600 bottles for the entire world – a whisky that has since become rare and highly sought after.

🛢️ Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2009, this single cask is non chill-filtered, of natural colour and matured in a mix of American and European oak barrels, highlighting Cragganmore’s malty and gently woody profile.

Colour: amber. Nose: rustic barley, fine spices, a broad spectrum of cereals and discreet oak, all in a refined Speyside style.

On the palate, a lovely creaminess leads to wild flowers, sweet cereals, subtle spice and soft oak. The finish is rounded, elegant and gently floral – truly a “cultivated rustic” malt for connoisseurs.

Now very hard to find on the open market, this single cask Cragganmore will appeal to collectors and lovers of distinctive independent bottlings.
