🌿 Production & distillation
Traditional cider apples are blended, crushed and pressed. The juice is allowed to ferment completely, producing a dry cider ready for distillation.
After around six months, a double distillation is carried out:

• the first run of the cider yields a low wine of about 30% vol.,

• the second distillation of this low wine produces Calvados Dupont Fine, which is then aged in oak casks.

🍏 Tasting notes:

• 👁 Appearance: clear, bright golden yellow.

• 👃 Nose: fine, complex and intense, with aromas of apple, pear, vanilla, citrus and subtle forest-floor notes.

• 👄 Palate: round and refreshing, showing fruity flavours, vanilla and a touch of dried fruits. Overall smooth, well-blended and nicely persistent.
