🌿 Craft & production
Traditional cider apples are blended, crushed and pressed. The juice is fully fermented to obtain a dry cider ready for distillation.
A double distillation is carried out about six months after fermentation:

• the first run of the cider produces a low wine of around 30% vol.,

• the second distillation of this low wine yields the final Calvados Dupont, which is then aged slowly in oak.

🍏 Tasting notes:

• 👁 Appearance: golden yellow with light copper highlights.

• 👃 Nose: pleasant, fine and complex, gently oaked with apple and banana aromas and subtle floral notes of rose and jasmine that develop with aeration.

• 👄 Palate: silky, well-balanced attack, flavours of ripe apples and elegant oak, leading to a long, harmonious finish.
