Great whiskey is not by chance. Years of experience and skill have led to the careful selection of whiskeys used in the Jameson Select Reserve.
Jameson's master distillers carefully selected an Irish pot still whiskey and a rare small grain whiskey, both matured in burnt flame-burned bourbon casks and singed sherry casks. Grain whiskey, which is not found in any other Jameson whiskey, is distilled three times in small batches once a year.
Once mature at the Jameson Distillery's warehouses, the still pot whiskey is characterized by rich smoky wood notes and spices typical of Jameson whiskey.
The result is an extremely rich and opulent taste experience, combining spices and exotic fruits. We are sure you will agree that this is a wonderful selection.

Tasting notes:

Dress: Dark gold.

Nose: Round and full, with notes of exotic fruits such as nectarines, apricots and papayas.

Palate: An unctuous taste experience: Extremely soft fruit aromas contrast with hints of vanilla, toasted wood and spices from pot still whiskey and burnt casks.

Finale: An incredibly long finish with perfectly balanced notes of fruit and spice. For an extremely rich and powerful taste experience.

The origin of the word "whiskey" is located in Ireland where, around 600, missionary monks invented a drink they called "Uisce Beatha", Gaelic word for "brandy", then Anglicanized in " whiskey ".
