Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 

With Château Grand Corbin, a Grand Cru Classé, we are 3 kilometers north-west of Saint-Emilion, on a siliceous soil resting on a bed of ferric clay. The vines, planted at 5,500 vines per hectare, are divided into a large majority of merlot flanked by two cabernets, the franc and the sauvignon.

The harvest of the reasons is manual and followed by a careful sorting for a plot and traditional vinification, in thermoregulated vats. The result is a maturation of about 18 months in French oak barrels.

Thus is born a Grand Cru classified Saint-Emilion in intense dress, with soft tannins, complex aromas and naturally fresh, which will require a few years of cellar to complete. 2009, while flexibility and roundness, does honor to its vintage. 2011, fruity and elegant, also caught the attention of Bernard Burtschy.
