Filia de Grand Mayne is the second wine of Château Grand Mayne, Grand Cru Classé.

Everything here is brought together to produce an excellent wine: a pretty soil dominated by clay and limestone on the east coast of the plateau, the same family owner - the Nony - for 80 years, the best oenologist on the right bank - Michel Rolland - to follow vinification, as well as a luxurious aging in half new barrels.
The Grand Mayne vineyard has 19 hectares planted with Merlot (75%), Cabernet Franc (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). The wine shows a decidedly modern but no less elegant profile: rich and dense, with pulpy and ripe tannins, intense notes of black fruits and cocoa, a very good aptitude for keeping.
