About the wine:

The harvest is manual. The grapes are transported in wicker baskets which allow the juices to flow and prevent their oxidation. After rigorous sorting, the whole unstemmed harvest ferments for a long time under strictly controlled temperatures.

The wines of Château de La Tour are Grands Crus de Tradition. Thus, the most modern techniques, stainless steel vats, pneumatic presses, combined with very low yields (29 hectoliters per hectare for the last 5 harvests, i.e. less than 30cl per vine stock) and judicious use of new wood according to the power of wine, are there exclusively at their service.
