🥃 Michel Couvreur The Unique 4 Years Old is a 70cl Scottish grain whisky at 44% ABV, produced in North-East Scotland from a mix of malted and unmalted cereals. Distilled in a Coffey still (continuous distillation), it delivers a particularly light, clean style, specially crafted as an aperitif whisky that will not overpower the wines served with your meal.

The spirit is matured for 4 years in oak casks

🛢️, then reduced to 44% using pure water from the Pentland Hills. This careful reduction and ageing bring freshness, finesse and a precise aromatic profile.

In the glass, the colour is pale, almost opaline. On the nose, delicate iodised notes appear, with a hint of almond, soft vanilla sweetness and a touch of light florality. The palate is both lively and round, with a nervous attack that quickly melts into smooth grain character, a gentle saline edge and subtle vanilla. The finish is clean, refreshing and dry without harshness, making it an ideal pre-dinner dram.
