🥃 Glenfiddich IPA Experiment is a pioneering Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the “Maverick Whisky Makers of Dufftown”. True to Glenfiddich’s experimental spirit, this whisky pushes the boundaries of traditional maturation by working hand in hand with the world of craft beer.

For this release, Malt Master Brian Kinsman collaborated with the brewers of Speyside Craft Brewery to create a firm yet refreshing IPA (India Pale Ale), brewed specifically to season oak casks

🛢️. Once infused with powerful hop notes, these casks were used to finish Glenfiddich single malt, resulting in the first Scotch single malt finished in India Pale Ale casks.

On the nose, Glenfiddich IPA Experiment offers aromas of tropical fruits, zesty citrus (grapefruit, lemon), fresh hops and golden malt, lifted by hints of vanilla and gentle spice. The palate is lively, malty and slightly creamy, with flavours of orange peel, light caramel, herbal notes and a subtle, refined bitterness from the IPA influence. The finish is clean, refreshing and moderately hoppy, while retaining the smooth sweetness of a Speyside classic.

This whisky is perfect for adventurous single malt lovers and craft beer fans alike. Enjoy neat to appreciate the balance between malt and hops, or with a splash of water to open up the citrus and vanilla notes.
