The R de Ruinart is the fruit of a clever combination of wines made from

Chardonnay (40%) and Pinot Noir (60%) grapes, including a quarter of reserve wine.

It is a golden champagne, lively and fruity, with a subtle aroma. white-fleshed fruit.

A brilliant 17 th century spirit, the Benedictine monk Dom Thierry Ruinart is also

a visionary entrepreneur. During his travels, he observes the enthusiasm sparked by the

Champagne wine from the great courts of Europe. He then passes on his knowledge

to his brother so that he can develop the Champagne business. Nicolas Ruinart,

nephew of Dom Thierry decides to realize the dream of his uncle and his father.

He took advantage of a royal decree authorizing the transport of bottled champagne

and inaugurated on September 1, 1729 the house Ruinart, first Champagne House.
The success is with go and in 1735, the elaboration of Champagne
