It is one of the most prestigious wines of its appellation. From the name of its owner in the 18th century, Catherine Conseillan, La Conseillante belongs to the Nicolas family for 140 years. The vintage is based on the technical know-how of Marielle Cazaux, with the advice of oenologist Michel Rolland. Located on a beautiful terroir of sands, gravel and clay located on the edge of the appellation Saint-Emilion, close to Cheval Blanc, this vineyard of 12 hectares has 20% of Cabernet Franc, hence the profile of the Médoc wines . The estate has just offered a brand new cellar.
La Conseillante is famous for producing classic wines, precise, extremely concentrated and aromatic, with a beautiful volume and very present tannins.
The vintage produces a second wine, Duo de Conseillante.
