Fascinated by the aromatic range of Pinot Noir in Champagne, Louis Roederer crafted this Brut Vintage using grapes from the Montagne de Reims. These north-facing slopes yield grapes that ripen slowly, giving firm, structured wines that evolve beautifully with oak aging and time.

In 1850, the house purchased 15 hectares in the grand cru village of Verzenay to fully control the quality of this exceptional cuvée.
