Louis Roederer Brut Vintage Champagne comes from one of the oldest Champagne houses. Louis Roederer inherited the house in 1833 and revolutionized wine-making by taking control of every step of production. He bought his own vineyards and produced his own grapes, which was very uncommon at the time. This defined the distinctive style of Louis Roederer champagnes. Today, the house spans 240 hectares, run by the seventh generation. It includes 410 distinct plots. All three Champagne grape varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier) are grown on the estate. Harvesting is done manually and vinification is parcel-based. The 2015 vintage is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. The bottles underwent 3 years of cellar aging and rested for at least 6 months after disgorgement
