Since 1832, traditions have not been lost. The stills bring in winter this comforting flame that warms the heart. And under the beams blackened by century-old evaporation, the long work of maturation takes place.

The Cellar Masters, who succeeded each other, remained successively. They testify to the continuity of this know-how in the tradition concerning the choice of the best productions from Bas Armagnac, the methods of distillation, breeding and ageing.
The Castarede house allows its Armagnacs longer aging times than those required by law to obtain Armagnacs of rare finesse.

For more than 180 years, in the cellars initially located in Pont de Bordes on the banks of the Baïse, then in the Bas-Armagnac property, the Château de Maniban, the Castarède family lovingly maintains a unique know-how at the service of the Armagnac.

Their commitment and their passion for Armagnac remained intact and the eau d'immortalité preserved the enthusiasm of their eternal youth.

Presentation of the cuvée:

Aged in oak barrels, it presents notes of light and dry prune, very fine, melted, very light, alcohol with finesse that lets its terroir appear with elegance, a little Cognac... Surprising in the collection of vintages, atypical!
