Champagne Pol Roger Brut Reserve 75CL
The non-vintage Brut are the most representative wines of Champagne. They are, for the house Pol-Roger, beyond the fleeting contemporary and modes of passage. This brut reserve is no exception to the rule.
The 3 grape varieties of the appellation - chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier - are all served in 3 equal parts with grapes from 30 different crus, including several Premiers and Grands Crus. During the vinification, up to a third of reserve wines are added to perpetuate the taste of this wine over time. There follows a minimum stay of 3 years in the cellar and a dosage of 11 grams of sugar per liter.
The result is a Champagne with a powerful and engaging nose on the fruit and brioche notes. Its palate is frank and dynamic, with cooked fruits, citrus fruits, spices and a remarkable aromatic persistence.
