Wine Presentation
With this wine, we are in the south of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet and the Côte des Blancs, where this language vineyard produces Chardonnay among the greatest white wines in the world. Specifically, we are in the Premier Cru Morgeot, vineyard slopes gently on calcareous marl where are the ruins of an old monastery that frequented the LaGuiche family.
The house Joseph Drouhin owns 2.26 hectares in place that harvest by hand, sorted twice and pressure slowly to respect the fruit before vinification and aging in new oak barrels in the fifth.
2008 delivered a wine with a beautiful density, minerality and freshness, with a low level of acidity. 2009, in the 2005 line and the great vintages of the last century gave Marquis LaGuiche aromatic, crisp and expressive, drinking in his youth for his enthusiasm or wait a bit.
