Presentation of the wine
The first wine of Château Margaux, classified Premier Cru in 1855, is recognized as one of the greatest wines of the world for several centuries.
The 87 hectares of vineyards that give birth to it are located between Margaux and the Gironde, on a mound of gravel that enjoys privileged conditions - exposure, drainage, precipitation ... - and that the work of men has shaped over the centuries, especially by adapting the grape varieties to the smallest soil variations. You will find in this wine the 4 red Bordeaux grape varieties: merlot, petit verdot and two cabernets in secret proportions.
In the cellar, the wood is in the spotlight, with fermentations in oak vats and then aging for 18 to 24 months in new barrels
