Born in the division of the old Château Certan-Giraud in 1999, Hosanna belongs to Etablissements Jean-Pierre Moueix. Replanting work on certain plots has been carried out, as well as soil management for optimal drainage of rainwater.
Hosanna is located on the famous Pomerol plateau with its clay-gravel soils, the vineyard is surrounded by prestigious neighbors: Château Lafleur in the north, Vieux Château Certan in the south and Petrus in the east. The vineyard covers 4.5 hectares planted with 70% Merlot, the rest in Cabernet Franc, a rare proportion in the appellation.
Hosanna signs wines from ripe grapes, all in volume, power and generosity, without departing from great elegance and incredible longevity thanks to its 30% Cabernet Franc.
