This pretty cru Pomerol plateau is owned by the Vayron family since 1921, hence its historic name "Bourgneuf-Vayron" now shortened.

On 9 hectares of clay and gravel near the prestigious Château Trotanoy, the vineyard is planted with 90% Merlot, with a contribution of Cabernet Franc.

The wines of Bourgneuf offer a very good concentration thanks to the old vines in important proportion. Meaty, sweet and fragrant, they still retain a classic style, with beautiful truffle aromas and above all an exemplary quality consistency.
