About the producer

In 1446, Jean and Nicolas Moët are ennobled by King Charles VII.

One of the Moët brothers' descendants, Claude Moët, a wine merchant in Epernay since the beginning of

the 18th century, founded Maison Moët in 1743. His grandson, Jean Rémy Moët, a pioneering and visionary spirit,

will turn this trading company into the leading international luxury brand. Since 1743,

Moët & Chandon has been producing champagne wines whose quality expresses all the richness and

diversity of its fabulous vineyard. With more than 1,000 hectares, Moët & Chandon is at

the head of the largest Champagne vineyard. However, the grapes from his vines only

provide him with 15% of his production. The house therefore buys grapes from owners to

design wines with a seductive and generous personality.
