It was at the end of the 19th century that Charles Gardet, a fine merchant with a touch of adventure for his time, founded Maison Gardet in Épernay. In the 1930s, his son, Georges Gardet, perpetuated the family tradition by settling in Chigny-les-Roses to develop the Champagne Gardet brand. Evolving in the wine and arboricultural professions for several generations, it is the Prieux family who are now the proud owners. Deeply rooted in its native land (Champagne), Maison Gardet wishes to combine 21st century technologies with the tradition inherited from the founder of the house to produce champagnes of excellence.
In order to maintain the quality and character of its champagnes year after year, the House takes advantage of the latest technological innovations in order to increasingly master each parameter of the Champagne winemaking method. A key stage in the transformation of the fruit into divine nectar, the vinification is adapted according to our cuvées to obtain a champagne that is all the more authentic.
The House produces its champagnes in compliance with the rigorous AOC regulations and traditions. It ensures its commitment to the environment and quality by giving its staff the necessary means to implement the quality and food safety policy at all levels of the company.
