Wine history:

Commanding one of the oldest estates in the appellation, this castle once impressed visitors with its twelve towers. Today it is the regular quality of its wines that ensures its prestige. Without having the ambitions of the previous vintage, elected favorite, this 2007 pleasantly surprises with its very strong color. Its bouquet is more discreet but it expresses beautiful notes of cooked grape and reveals in the mouth a well-married woodiness which lets the fruit show through. This Pessac Leognan, will be more talkative after a stay in the cellar authorized by its tannic structure and its lamb's lettuce.
