○ To the eye: pale golden hue with green and silver reflections

○ On the nose: notes of crunchy pears, fig leaves, spicy notes (fennel, cardamom and licorice stick), dried lime blossom and green tea

○ In the mouth: fresh, full and creamy attack with notes of fresh white fruits, lively and elegant finish supported by a slight bitterness and saline notes

○ Grape variety(s): 44% Chardonnay, 44% Pinot Noir and 12% Pinot Meunier

Created in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart, this family company was bought in 1988 by the LVMH group. However, the Ruinart Champagne house remains a special case within this group. Indeed, the Ruinart Champagne brand does not have a policy of producing large quantities of champagne bottles for sale. Targeting a clientele of large restaurants and specialized boutiques, it positions itself as the “top of the range” of the group, through the constant search for finesse and also by offering champagne in antique-style bottles. This champagne house is ranked 15th in the list of the 50 best champagnes in the Revue du Vin de France. Ruinart is above all a style well defined by its diaphanous rosé champagnes resulting from long aging. Chardonnay also imbues the rest of the range with elegance, the watchword of the brand.
