BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKEY

JOHNNIE WALKER BLACK LABEL, whose origins date back to the 1870s with the Old Special Whiskey, became "BLACK LABEL" in 1909. It is considered by experts as the ultimate luxury Scotch whiskey, the stallion to which all others are measures.

Johnnie Walker® Black Label® is the connoisseur's choice. This premium blend contains some forty smoked malt and grain whiskeys from all over Scotland, each at least 12 years old. This exceptional wedding is a sweet whiskey with a pronounced and provocative taste, rich in smoked aromas of malt and peat, perfect for sharing with friends or closing a busy day. It can be eaten pure, with a finger of still or sparkling water or in a long drink with soda or ginger ale.

A constant focus on quality and style has earned JOHNNIE WALKER BLACK LABEL multiple awards.

Today, this blend is as rich and mellow as it was when John Walker's son and grandson were Masters Blenders. BLACK LABEL retains the authenticity of its creator and today enjoys better sales than any other blended Scotch whiskey on the planet. The fact that he resists time is a testament to the innovative spirit and skills of the Walker family.

BLACK LABEL - THE ART OF INTERPRETATION

The strength of Black Label lies in its rich aromatic palette and in its perfect balance achieved through the assembly. Real work to interpret, each of its modes of tasting brings out an aspect of its character.

Served on ice, it will retain its rich and intense taste in the service of a very fresh and subtle drink and release its notes of dried fruit and citrus characteristic of the Speyside region.

Served dry at room temperature, Johnnie Walker Black will leave woody, vanilla and dry fruit aromas much more pronounced, typical of whiskeys aged in European and American oak barrels.
Served with a little water, it will mainly release its smoky notes, the signature of the Walker House and characteristic of West Coast whiskeys and islands including Islay.
