Presentation of the wine
The vineyards of Château La Confession which give birth to this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru are more than 40 years old and they are on a double terroir, with 4.8 hectares of clay-limestone soils and 2.7 hectares of clay-siliceous soils . The grape variety is two-thirds of Merlot, one-third of Cabernet Franc and two percent of Cabernet Sauvignon.

After manual harvesting and a double sorting of the harvest, the grapes are gravity-fed before vinification in ovoid wooden vats and concrete, with thermoregulation. The aging then takes place in French oak barrels.

The result is an elegant, concentrated and complex Grand Cru, with red fruits, spices, toasty notes and tannins that announce a good vintage of over 10 years.
