Presentation of Château Giscours (Margaux) 3rd Gd Classified Growth:
After the difficulties of the 70s and 80s and the damage to its reputation caused by legal frauds and disputes in the 90s and 2000s, Château Giscours, in constant progress, returned to a more worthy level of its ranking (3rd Grand Cru Classé in 1855) while keeping prices reasonable.

Culture and winemaking are conducted in a traditional way. The grape harvests are manual, vinification conducted in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats or concrete with plot selection. Aging, from 15 to 18 months, is done in French oak barrels (50% new barrels).
The color is dense and deep, the bouquet very rich and powerful, with hints of black fruit and oak. In the mouth, we find at once the elegance, the nobility and the classicism of the Margaux and especially the body, the power and the density which are one of the marks of Giscours.
