Champagne Pink POP from Pommery is a wine that goes off the beaten track. At the same time young, fresh and charming, it is resolutely trendy and provocative.

This Champagne of pleasure accompanies the most beautiful desires. Innovative champagne, it never leaves you indifferent.

Produced with the same high standards as the other Pommery vintages, the Pink POP vintage is presented in an elegant, stylish and modern bottle. A Champagne for celebration and pleasure.

The Pink POP vintage from Pommery has a soft pale pink color and an elegant train of bubbles.

On the nose, this Champagne reveals a powerful aromatic bouquet of red fruits, supported by brioche notes.

On the palate, it is a perfectly balanced wine, very fruity and fresh. The significant presence of Chardonnay brings a touch of finesse and delicacy to Pink POP Pommery.

It was in 1836 that the future Pommery house was founded by Narcisse Greno. Twenty years later, he was joined by Mr. Pommery. And it is following the premature death of the latter that the Pommery saga will truly begin. It was his wife, Jeanne-Alexandrine Louise Melin, who took over the management of the establishment in 1858.

In a few years, she will profoundly transform and modernize the Pommery house. Under her leadership, sales increased, and Mrs. Pommery undertook ambitious work to erect Elizabethan-style buildings on what was then only wasteland.

It was in 1870 that the gigantic work began to build an estate with English architecture which should remind its clients, largely British, of their native country. The construction site is immense; underground galleries must be drilled in order to connect the approximately 120 chalk pits that dot the land. A network of 18 kilometers of chalk galleries then saw the light of day, dug by miners brought by Pommery from the north of France.

But Madame Pommery’s other stroke of genius was to automate her cellars. She had a rail system installed in the galleries allowing wicker baskets to be hung to transport the bottles quickly and easily.

In homage to this great lady of Champagne, the house created a superb vintage: La Cuvée Louise.

In 2002, the Vranken Monopole company integrated Maison Pommery into its Group.
